It was the wards around the forest; they were designed with the idea in mind to use the sudden change in weather to keep out unwanted visitors.

How come Harry was a Parselmouth, even though he was never marked/wasn't related to Tom at the time?

Ah, very good question! Unfortunately, I can't answer that quite yet without ruining the plot, so you'll just have to wait and see.

Did Harry have Slytherin blood even before he was adopted?

Is Harry going to go Light?

No. *Sigh.* Harry is never going to go Light.

Why do Lily and James hate him [Harry] so much?

Ah, excellent question! Well, shortly after Chris was born (and the prophecy *finally* came to life) they caught Harry speaking Parseltongue--of course, he didn't know he was doing it. However, they, still supremely worried about Chris and wary of anyone with Dark connections, panicked when Harry began to "display Dark tendencies". This ties in with the info posted on the topic I set up in the forums regarding Dumbledore, and they learned to hate him for the potential (if ridiculously accused) threat Harry was to Chris, so they abused him, hoping to knock it out of him. Very similar to the Dursleys, in fact.

When will Remus meet Harry???

Third year.

Which one is the Prophesized Child--Harry or Chris?

Can't reveal that quite yet, sorry.

Does Dumbledore know Harry is the Dark Heir?

Aha, now that's the million Galleon question, isn't it? ;)

Does Dumbledore know that Harry is alive?

He believes and thinks he is, but he doesn't know for certain.

Which side is Snape on?

Ah, unfortunately you won't find out the answer to that question until the very end.

Why (was) Dumbledore Harry's godfather and not Sirius or even Remus?

This was actually a frequent question. Back then, Chris wasn't alive and the prophecy was still unknown of, so Lily and James--back when they still cared for Harry, mind--decided it would be much safer to assign Dumbledore as his godfather than the other two--because even then, if you remember from canon, Voldemort was after them.

Where has Wormtail been through all of this?

Azkaban, where else?

Is the Prophecy still in effect, now that Voldemort is dead (by Dumbledore's hand)?

Ah, unfortunately can't answer that yet, but you'll find out later, no worries. >:)

If so, then how come Dumbledore was able to kill him?

Will there be romance?

At the moment, no. I can't account for later in the story if it helps the plot, however.

Will Remus be Light, Dark or neutral?

I'd so love to answer this, but unfortunately I can't, because I don't know myself! It's still up in the air, to be honest.

When are the Potters going to get what they deserve?

And *that's* the question everyone is asking. You'll find out soon enough. >:)

What have the Weasleys been doing this whole time?

Chillin'. No, seriously, other than the occasional work for the Order, just going about life as per usual.

How old is Chris?

At the end of the first installment, nine; the end of the first chapter of A Change in History: The Philosopher's Stone he's 10.

Does Hermione get brought in (and while we're on the subject, what about Neville and Luna)?

They will all be seen, and maybe even sooner than you think.

During this whole thing, did Chris ever notice that Harry wasn't there with the rest of the Potters?

He did occasionally, but most of the time, no.

Since Harry has the locket Horcrux, does that mean Regulus Black is still alive?

Yes, but as I've stated several times before, not everything is as it appears.

Will Harry ever perform rituals on himself to increase his power?

You lot keep asking about that, and the answer currently is no. Not that I've planned, anyways. He's plenty powerful enough on his own and this isn't a Super!Harry fic.

Will Harry be getting a wand?

Of course.

What House will Harry be in?

You'll find out within a few chapters. Don't want to spoil it for everyone.

What's Harry's mysterious new pet going to be?

Oh, I believe you all already know who it is. :) And yes, I'm being cryptic on purpose.

Why does Chris act way younger than Harry, even though Harry's only older than him by a year?

Maturity, and the different between how they were raised, for one thing, though intelligence does have something to do with it.

Does Severus know about the Horcruxes?

Good question. :)
